ADPT Awards
APDT has three annual awards which are presented at our Annual Conference:
- The Susan Wilkins Award - The Susan Wilkins Achievement Award recognises members who are making significant, voluntary contribution to pet dog welfare and the betterment of dogs' lives. This Award acknowledges the pivotal role of the late Susan Wilkins in establishing APDT Australia, as its founding member, Newsletter Editor and Publicity Officer. Find out more
- The Trainer of the Year Award - This award is for an APDT member who exemplifies the APDT spirit through their commitment to the APDT Vision and Mission, promoting positive reinforcement training and continuing, demonstrated commitment to our Association. Find out more
- The Shelter Worker of the Year Award - The Association of Pet Dog Trainers Australia offers a fantastic educational opportunity for the exceptional shelter employee or shelter volunteer who has an interest in and commitment to using positive training methods to improve the chances of adoption for the dogs in their care.
